Rock Beats Scissor, But Letter Opener Beats Hammer

Hollywood police say a man wielding a hammer lost a fight to a man with a letter opener.

What a pussy (guy with hammer). Guaranteed, John Henry wins that fight.

Steel Driving Man

…even if Herbert Kornfeld is the man armed with the letter opener.

I’m not too sure if I should be posting, what with the writers strike. By posting these 2 sentences, did I just Ellen Degeneres across the picket lines?

Bobby Flay Is No Messiah, But He’s Close

review: Does bobby flay get beaten everytime on throwdown? source: http://www.seriouseats.com/

flay.jpg

Referencing Throwdown with Bobby Flay, Kbear919 states,

I mean, I already hate this guy but please I think I’ve seen most of the episodes..burger, ice cream, philly steak, doughnut…every time he get school’ed…does he have one under his belt?

OH NO YOU DIDN’T!!!!!
Perhaps the author is unfamiliar with the premise of Throwdown with Bobby Flay? He challenges other chefs, cooks, or bartenders in their specialty. That’s right, their specialty.

Perhaps Kbear919 is unfamiliar with the 11th commandment: Thou shall not speak negatively about or towards Bobby Flay.

Or perhaps the author is familiar with the show premise and the 11th commandment, but chooses to ignore both because she worships the devil. Either way, her post is “Totally Bogus.”

The artist of this diagram either had a heroin needle in his toe, or a Frog’s Brain actually looks like a human is making love to a light-bulb, on top of a fish.

Minimizing Failure in Public School through Course Elimination

Review: School Postpones Students’ Physical Education
Source: wfsb.com

Students in one Connecticut High School no longer have to complete one of their required Physical Education courses after many of the previous students have failed the class.  According to the school’s principal, Daniel Sullivan,

"Every time you fail, you’re one step behind, and if we can look at one area that we know is a problem and find a way to address it, we’re putting them in the right direction".

What better policy to improve our American education system then to remove those courses that may be difficult for students.  Why, I would be willing to bet that this Connecticut school may soon be eligible for more government funding now that the collective grade point average will see a healthy spike!

Bravo Principal Sullivan.  Your obese and unmotivated students thank you.
